Economic Development and Land Management Section

1. Improvement of indigenous industrial, economic, tribal, community living and environmental facilities; counseling on general development funds and loans; career counseling; counseling on crafts, intellectual property rights, cultural, tourism, agricultural, forestry, fishery, animal husbandry and hunting industries; planning, coordination and guidance on indigenous tribal safety prevention/control and migration; sustainable development plan for indigenous areas and tribes; access road improvement plan; drinking water facility improvement plan; indigenous industrial and economic development plan; the planning, review and approval of the “Indigenous Access Road Construction Priority Plan”; and other matters related to indigenous economy and public infrastructure.

2. The planning, coordination, review/deliberation, addition, allocation, development and use of indigenous reservation lands; the review of old and unresolved cases; review and deliberation of all types of land use cases; the reporting and prohibition of deforestation in indigenous reservation lands and the implementation of “Indigenous Reservation Land Overuse Control Plan” for areas near the Techi Dam watershed; National Security Plan (Indigenous Reservation Land Overuse Control Plan) and Forest Conservation Plan; deliberation and coordination of indigenous lands related acts and regulations; and other matters related to the management and counseling of land development.
