Cultural and Educational Welfare Section – Introduction

The section provides guidance on indigenous ethnic autonomy and traditional tribal organizations, conducts research and discussion on indigenous education policies and regulations, investigate and preserves age-old sacrifice and traditional skills, oversees communication media and educational and cultural aspects, offers guidance and awards for related activities, promotes the revitalization of indigenous languages, grants awards and subsidies for indigenous specialized talents and students, plans and promotes international exchanges of among indigenous associations, compiles guidance plans for urban indigenous life , offers indigenous unemployment assistance and social support, provides legal services, administers indigenous employment cash equivalent, and manages the feedback fund from the public welfare lottery, promotion of volunteer services, planning of employment status surveys, other cultural and educational services, indigenous welfare services, and residential matters.
